Acoustic Americana duo Howard & Skye present their “HandS!!” Private Showcase at FARM (Folk Alliance Region Midwest) 2018 Music Conference on Thursday, October 25, in Room 104 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The “HandS!!” showcase, hosted by singer-songwriters Jonathan Howard and Blueflower Skye, will feature the wonderful talents of nine singer-songwriters from the Midwest United States, performing in three 50-minute sets in-the-round:


Set 1: (Thursday, Oct. 25 from 11:30pm – 12:20am):

Doug Harsch from South Bend, Indiana (“Rockin' Americana Folk”)

Donna Herula from Chicago, Illionois (Blues, Folk, Roots)

Mark Lavengood from Grand Rapids, Michigan (Folk – Roots - Americana)


Set 2: (Friday, Oct. 26 from 12:30am – 1:20am):

Curt Joa from Kohler, Wisconsin (Americana)

John Louis from Minneapolis, Minnesota (Americana, Folk)

Bryce Ernest Taylor from Muncie, Indiana (Alternative Folk)


Set 3: (Friday, Oct. 26 from 1:30am – 2:20am):

Paige Hargrove from Chicago, Illinois (Singer-Songwriter genre)

Andrea von Kampen from Lincoln, Nebraska (Folk, Singer-Songwriter genre)

Taylor Steele from Effingham, Illinois (Americana)

Qualified nonprofit organizations in Arkansas (and in Mid-Atlantic Arts Alliance member states Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri) who hire registered artists can apply for a partial reimbursement of artist fees.
